Whenever Google is in a mood for carousing, the Google Doodle on its home page is promptly transformed to honor the occasion. But this time it is planning to go a little different. To celebrate the anniversary of original Star Trek pilot which also marks the prelude of Communicator, widely accredited forerunner of today’s cell phone, Google has dedicated a long week for celebrating all things Mobile.
So whats instore for you this week? Google will be tweeting and blogging some of its favorite mobile tips and tricks for using Google Search, Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, and more on your phone.
The Gmail blog yesterday stated easy ways for Gmail loaded mobile phones apart from iPhone and Blackberrys to check the messages on the go using the G-mail browser or built in email application of the phone..Joining in the celebration is Google’s video portal YouTube too is giving its users information on how watching YouTube videos on your any mobile could me made easier. The latest Google Search for mobile features have also been recapitulated in the Google official blog . All of these new features either make mobile search more complete, easier to use or more local.
The initial information shared by Google may not be very novel and many of you may already be much acquainted with them. But what I am more eagerly waiting is what will the long week have in its the daily dose of these tips and tricks. Now you call this whole idea a gratitude feeling or Google’s self endorsement strategy that is your personal perspective. But we may still hope to gain few scraps of information if not much , as there is nothing we would loose. So in Google’s words…. Everyone can boldly go… mobile!
