Right now the every software companies have been fighting for the domination of Mobile Operating Software and we can;t ignore the fact that Microsoft wan’t a pie of the share. They have been promoting there presence in the mobile software by their partnership with Nokia. I know most of you may not be a Microsoft fan, but what do you think will it take for a giant as such to dominate a new fresh market like mobile apps and search engine, where we already have Apple and Google and others competing.
“There are many competitors in the software business and it is good for healthy competition. Competition brings innovation. We will compete with them (Google) in search and other things,” Microsoft India’s Managing Director Rajan Anandan told reporters here.
“We are coming up with a range of new products in the next 12-months. We have Microsoft Office 2010 coming up in the middle of next year,” he added.
“The deal with Nokia is exciting. It will take Nokia to the next level and help accelerate (sales) numbers,” Anandan said.
The space for competition is already crowded, we have the veterans and the newbies competing with each other. Apple, Google, Blackberry, Nokia, Dell, Microsoft - these are few big names in the list. Lets see who will come out as a winner or may be there won’t be any winners, with the business relationship intertwined within itself, its hard to make any judgement. What is your take on this?
