At the Professional Developers Conference(PDC) on Tuesday, the software maker did not reveal much details on IE 9. Even then, the Chief Software Architect Ray Ozzie pledged that Microsoft will make Internet Explorer the absolute best Windows browser.

Ozzie announced plans for the formal launch of Windows Azure, the cloud-based operating system that lets developers write programs that run on servers in Microsoft’s data centers. It will be in production for all users starting January 1, though a few customers will enter production now, Ozzie said.
Microsoft is expected to speak more (but-not-all) about its browser plans in today’s keynote speech. The latest version of IE 8 was released in March and is also built into Windows 7.
Microsoft faces tough competition with apple, Google and Firefox. Let us hope IE tabs hung less with IE 9.
